Telerik, an end-to-end provider of software application lifecycle and content management solutions, announced the Q3 2014 release of its developer tools, the only modular platform that combines a rich set of UI tools with powerful cloud services to develop web, hybrid and native apps.
Telerik is a provider of rich and powerful UI controls and components for Microsoft development platforms like ASP.NET AJAX, ASP.NET MVC, Silverlight, WPF, and Windows Forms. Telerik also provide data access layers, reporting, code analysis and refactoring tools.



The benefit of Telerik controls over the standard Microsoft controls that are often used is the richness, responsiveness and user friendliness.
Using Telerik control is not complicated as Telerik controls, in technical terms, are built on standard Microsoft controls. Telerik can be used like any standard controls, with the additional advantage of design, functionalities and features.
Even for an existing application, where refactoring is required, Telerik can safely replace standard controls without any break to the existing state of application. Applications won't fail in regression testing when controls are replaced with Telerik controls.
