System Requirements

-- Web Server with PHP support (IIS or Apache)

-- PHP Apache module version 4.1.x or better with MySQL, Session, and gd library support enabled (recommended)

-- MySQL database server


Installation Script

*** Make sure the System Requirements are met.

1. Unzip the package into your web site directory.

2. Create an user with access to CP and Ragnarok DB OR with access to Ragnarok DB and can create a DB it will create the CP db.

3. Run the index.php and it will redirect to the install.php script

4. Check /db/castles.txt to see if the castles names in cp, match the names of your server.


Manual Installation

*** Make sure the System Requirements are met.

1. Unzip the package into your web site directory.

2. Create a database and load the table.sql script.

mysqladmin create cp

"table.sql" contains the commands to build the table structure and the default data for Ceres CP. Run the script on your cp database.

mysql cp < table.sql
Or with PHPMyAdmin (web interface)

3. Edit '../install/manual/config.default.php' for database settings and save it as 'config.php' in the root of the CP folder.
(You'll find instructions on how to setup, inside config.default.php)

Upgrading from Previous Versions of CeresCP
IMPORTANT: Remember to always backup your database before any upgrade -- just in case.

1. Copy all the new files over your old ones including the subdirectories.

2. Make a backup copy of your config.php if you want.

3. If there are SQL upgrade file(s) in the 'upgrades' folder, execute those queries on your CP database.

4. Point your browser to the 'upgrades' folder and follow the instructions to update your config.php
